The cartoon was made based on my protest performance on May 9, 2022. I came out in black with crying eyes painted on my hands and was photographed against the background of the procession of the Immortal Regiment and festivities on the occasion of Victory Day in Russia, covering my face with my hands — and thus symbolically rewrote and appropriated what was happening. Published in ROAR #2.
