Video confession about one strange incident with the transformation into a frog at the end.
In "Incident in the Forest," the narrative is built on the protagonist's confession. The asynchronous juxtaposition of video footage and on-screen correspondence creates a space of silence, allowing the viewer to fill in the blanks themselves: the protagonist doesn't recount what happened to her in the forest, instead presenting the viewer with a traumatic event from her childhood. The psychoanalytic scene, culminating in the heroine's metaphorical transformation into a frog, demonstrates the blurring of boundaries between perpetrator and victim, inviting the viewer to reflect on the nature of trauma and transformation.
