Tech.Dep.Obs.Fau.&W.Phe, Samara
Collective exhibition at osssi mi, Samara, 15 Feb – 15 Mar 2026. Curated by Ir:c Solza with Ilya Mikheev and Donald Cooper.
About
Tech.Dep.Obs.Fau.&W.Phe brought together works developed around fauna, technogenic environments, militarized vision, and forms of witnessing. The exhibition assembled artists, researchers, and collectives around a shared concern with damaged ecologies and scopic regimes.
Ir:c Solza curated the exhibition together with Ilya Mikheev and Donald Cooper. The presentation grew out of the House, Well, Pyramid laboratory and connected it to works by KRUS, OVS, Gorfau na / Alex Buldakov, and other participants.
Participants included KRUS (Lera Kruglova, Polina Rusakova), the DKP laboratory (Artem Utrov, Snezhana Misteria, Eva Sizikova, Victoria Larina, Arli), OVS (Katya Andriyanova, TsveT), Gorfau na (Alex Buldakov), and Ilya Mikheev.
Video, animation, objects, text works, site-based indicators, and collaborative research.
Key works included Birdwatching by the DKP laboratory; Sketches of perches and feeding places by Gorfau na / Alex Buldakov; Reports of wind layers by Katya Andriyanova and TsveT; Coordinates by Ilya Mikheev and KRUS; and KRUS's two indicator works, including site-based coordinates in Stupino and Samara.
The curatorial text connected scopic power, damaged habitats, and the political life of images. The exhibition moved between fauna, surveillance, technogenic debris, and militarized modes of perception.
